Most eye doctors will accept two forms of insurance, Medical and Vision Plans. A medical insurance policy is used when there is a medical issue with you or your child’s eyes. These plans generally do not help cover the cost of glasses or contact lenses. Vision insurance is used when there is no particular problem affecting vision. These plans typically assist with the cost of glasses or contact lenses.
